Kayenzi market is one of the projects constructed under the funding of RLDSF, its construction changed lives of many people especially traders both financially and socially as they would suffer under scorching sunshine or heavy rain and most of the days without making any profit.

Epimaque Munyakazi the executive secretary of Kayenzi sector says ever since this market was built, taxes from traders in the market have increased 4 times the original amount as they would collect Rwf50.000 per week in taxes before and now they collect Rwf200.000 taxes a week.

Ambassador Ndangiza asked farmers in this sector which is known for production of pineapples to take advantage of that and build a pineapple processing plant that will produce pineapple juice that would develop many and offer employment opportunities to others.

Ambassador Ndangiza visited other projects of RLDSF in this sector including Nursery school, general kraal and pineapple farms in Bunyonga cell, all these projects were done on the support of VUP program. She asked leaders to sensitize people to participate in Land Use Consolidation Program and produce pineapples which thrive in their soils in quantities.
